I’m a firm believer in minimalism. I like to keep my food, training, schedule and basically everything else simple. There’s no need for extra gimmicks, only simple things. That’s why I’m only willing to use action cameras in what I do. Sorry sponsor candidates, you will never see me filming with those bulky film crew cams.
There are a lot of benefits in using these small gadgets: First off you will get angles that no other cams will give you. Secondy, using them is really simple. I have no experience or education in filming. But from the start I was willing to learn and I did. Thirdly, anybody who is willing to focus, will be able to use them. In all seriousness, that’s the only thing you need. To focus for a while.
Fun and spontaneous action needs to be present. I absolutely hate when something is too fixed and no room is left for creativity. Planning does in fact kill creativity. When you don’t plan too much, things amazingly start to happen. Even the dumbest shot might be the smoothest and that’s what I like. Let’s kill excessive planning and start living it up every second.
